remington 1100

Hey all, I am looking for a rem 1100 stock to cut down for my daughters first turkey hunt. Will a 1187 or 870 stock work on a 1100? Thanks for the help, and if anyone knows of a stock dosent matter what condition just one that would work let me know. Thanks again and GOOD HUNTIN!!

11-87 maybe. 870 No.

1187/1100 stocks are the same.  Some synthetic 870 stocks will interchange with no issues...some won't (depends on the manufacturer).  Remington offers a factory "youth" stock with a 1" shorter LOP.  Give their parts department a call and order one up...beats the heck out of having to cut one down and grind a recoil pad.

New(er) 11-87 & 870 stocks will interchange and work on 1100's as they are now drilled out the same.

Have you looked for an aftermarket (Cabela's, RamLine, etc.) youth stock?
