Author Topic: I am really freaked out!!!!!!!!! (Read 4651 times)

My family and I have been living in our house for 7 years now. Over the years we have had things come up missing and then have them turn up anywhere from a month to a couple of years later. For instance when we first moved in I had a bright yellow sleeveless t- shirt come up missing. Back then I asked my wife what happened to this shirt and she said she remembered washing it and it must be in my drawer. Well it was not. We just figured it got lost somewhere. Well it was like 2 years later and I came home from work and I go into my bedroom and on top of the dresser is a neatly folded yellow t-shirt. I yelled down to my wife and said HEY WHERE DID YOU FIND IT? She said find what. I said my yellow shirt from when we first moved in. She said she had not found it and I told her to come up and check this out. Sure enough we both agreed it was the shirt and she did not put it there. Durring the period of my missing yellow shirt she had a couple pair of thong underware come up missing. We always joked they must be hanging out with my shirt and we always blamed it on Mrs. Buttermore. This is the old lady that died in our house. The neighbors have always held her in high re guard and said she was a very nice person. I can't tell you how many things in our house come up missing and just turn up out of nowhere. Like I said any time we can't find something we blame it on Mrs. Buttermore. Well a few weeks ago we had a plant that was dying and I figured I would take a clipping of the best part and put it in water and try to root it. We have had this plant for many years and I was just hoping to save it. I had it on one window sill in the upstairs bathroom and my wife moved it to the other window sill. Well tonight I was in the bathroom doing my business and noticed the cup with the clipping was not there. My wife was on her way down stairs at the time and I yelled what happened to the clipping in the water. She said she did nothing with it. She said maybe the dogs pulled it off the window sill. When I was done doing what I was doing I went to look to see if that is what happened. The reason being there was a few boxes blocking my view from the toilet. Well that plant is just plain gone. No water on the floor, no cup and no clipping. I know I saw it there a few hours ago. I guess Mrs. Buttermore is playing games again.

Sounds like terrorist activity to me. They often check people out to see how
much they can get by with, they are probably living in your Attic or planning
on moving in soon.

No it's not the rum. It is still missing.

I have expirenced this many times. One time that was really wierd involved a diamond necklass. I had bout this necklace for my GF at the time(now my fiance). It was a 2000 dollar journey necklass which i purchased for our aniversry. We lived in NC at the time. I just got a job from my uncle back in OH. It is was the job offer of a life time. So ofcourse we moved back. she lost the necklass about 3 weeks before we started packing. My fiance does not let me pack i do the moving. We looked every were and as we were packing we looked. Nothing it was gone as the wind. No trace of anything that could have happened to it. so we move to OH and 65 months later this necklace pops up. We could not believe it. (she was soooo hapy as was I). The necklass was in a unpacked dishes box. Now we looked everywere for the thing. She does the packing and is not likly to miss packing her favorite lost thing. So since there was no ghost to blame it on i picked up the idea that it was god having fun. It totaly freaked us out to.

Dale it might be the CAT playing with ya'll , Remember no good deed goes UN punished . The plant didn't go up in smoke did it , check out the neighbors . No commit on the thongs ( some things best left alone ) .
When things like that happen to me i figure its a relapes of CRS sickness .

After re-thinking the issue, and looking at it from a different perspective I have come to the conclusion that it is time to trade brands of rum, and at the same time use MORE COKE in the drink, and less rum. Liquid coke of course.

Funny but my wife and I experince the same things in our house. I alaways get the blame for hidding or moving her stuff, she gets it from me. Problem is it can all be attributed to old age memory..........
