you guys have a problem with your brass coming out of the tumbler dirty? it has alot of dust on it any help

How often do you change your media?  Do you use corn cob or nut shells?

Yup time to toss that worn out walnut hull media and replace it with some new stuff. Even new walnut hull media is bad enough at the dust. I've gotten to where I always finish with corn cob media prior to sizing brass due to that walnut media dust.

Grab one of your wife’s dryer lint sheets and put it the tumbler. I use half of sheet. You will be amazed at he amount of dirt it pulls out. Sounds like you need new media too.

You may be right about the new media.  I'll dump mine and try new.  I like your idea about the dryer sheet.  I could have the best smelling brass around ;)

Check out the cleaning media from Sinclair International. That's the best stuff I've ever used. Comes out super shiney with no dust or residue.

I've used torn up paper towels too. Tear them in 1" strips and drop em over in with the brass and tumble away!
