No more 17m2 barrels????

Decided to send in my reciever and get a 17m2 barrel. The NEF web site doesnt even list it as an option. How long has this been the case??? I also noticed there werent any laminated stcks available unless you get a thumbhole stock. I have looked high and low for a complete NEF 17m2 but havent got much help form the shops. Most wont even check with distributors to see if any are availble they just say no longer made. Whats been your experience?

The 17M2 was discontinued a couple years ago, 2007 was the last year it was listed. ALL H&R stocks are available from them, some are available from Brownell's also, see the retail parts price list page in the FAQs and Help sticky for part numbers.

I do not believe the 17M2 barrel is available from the barrel accessory program anymore.
I was fortunate enough to get one of the last ones from the factory at Gardner Mass.
It is a great shooting caliber. With no wind from the bench I have shot 1" 3 shot groups
at 100 yards many times. If you can get your hands on a used one I would definitely
jump on it fast.

I cannot believe they discontinued the .17 Mach2. Mine is the most accurate rimfire gun I have, even more accurate than my .17 hmr out to about 100 yards....<><....
