Howdy Marshal Garybeard!

Seems like yer website must be doing well! The U.S. Government has now put it on the list of "banned" websites fer government employees, claiming that it's taking up too much bandwidth! (hidden meaning: too many government workers are coming here when they are surfing at work!)

I'm in the IT business and go to many gov't offices, Fed, Cty, State, local. This and many gun related sights are banded at most places, just because they deal with the subject of guns.

Can you get on EBAY?

Nope! The branch I work for doesn't normally block websites unless there is an "inordinate" amount of traffic to a specific website

Wal Pard we get about 30,000 folks per week dropping by most of the time. Deliver from about 1.2 to 1.4 million page views per week but it sometimes climbs to over 2 million.

So yup I'd say it is doing pretty well. Sorry to hear the folks at your office will no longer allow you to surf it. As best I recall back before I retired in '95 the government office I was in wouldn't allow any non government use of the computers. They even took all the games off of them and had programs to watch what you did when on them.

Good news marshal! Spoke with our system administrator and told him I visit here when I'm on break...and he opened access for us again! :-D

That's great. Glad to hear it. You IT folks must be a lot easier to deal with than those where I retired from back in '95.
