Range Report 24/7 OSS .45 ACP
« on: February 10, 2009, 04:32:22 PM »
I could not be happier right now over how the Taurus 24/7 OSS Tactical shoots, my POA was using my Novak sights ... and not at .*. as some were reporting shooting low because of something with the Novak sights.  I had zero problems today while shooting.  My ammo used was a 230-gr FMJ ball at 10 yards.  All targets were shot today in 28* Temps with no wind.  All shots were slow fire rested, and I do believe very good for these old eyes.

Here is me at 10 yards after shooting this nice target.  Normally I use a B27 type of target but was limited for today since I was just getting used to this new pistol.

Here is that same target on the BG Target, shot at 10 yards.

Here is that first target from the snow bank that I shot at by itself, as you can see I had one round that I jerked the trigger a bit on.

Me thinks this is a real keeper.

No complaints yet from me, and I carry this as my daily carry sidearm.

My 45 0SS is more accurate than my Taurus 1911 and Kimber.  I know its all ammo related because if I change loads  the most accurate pistol will change.
Now if it had a short light trigger!

The Serpa holster that is made for the Springfield XD Tactical will fit.  There are several other brands that will fit, just take it into your local supplier and try it out.  I'm using a Dillon belt slide that was made for a Glock, and if works great.

Thanks montanan for this.
Im looking at a 24/7 in 45acp and I like what I see now if this one
performs as good then I will have made a good choice.
