KP1?

Seems most have had some problems with the KP1 anyone had good luck or has Knight fixed these problems where the gun is not firing? Thinking of getting one in .45-70 but after reading some of these post not sure.

well, my boss , my buddy and I all got the KP1 in 45-70 at the same time and so far we've had no ftf. However my boss and I have had problems getting the breach open after letting the hammer down without firing the rifle. Called knight and will be sending them back for repair. Also some light freckling on the stainless but I will be keeping the KP1. I like the feel and heft of the gun and it is very accurate. My buddy has not had any problems with his at all. I believe I read on here that knight has addressed the ftf issue but I don't know for sure. All in all I like the gun.

Thx, I went ahead and bought one a blue version with the syn stock and forend. They didnt have the .45-70 in stock but had the .243 and had the 45-70 barrel so I went that route since I was going to get the 243 barrel anyway. Have ordered the mounts and scopes maybe a few weeks before I can shoot. Looking forward to it. I have a 243 handi but it just will not group I have sent it back twice and they have put new barrels on but they are no better than the 1st. Hope to have better luck with this one.
