My experiences with lawyers differs.
I have several friends that are lawyers. They are fine, upstanding family men.
I grew up in a small town that was the County Seat = Lawyers. They were good upstanding men of integrity.
Seems like everybody here would do away with them. What happens when you need one? Need? A will, A representative in a dispute, A man who can offer good, sound legal advice. What would you do go out and find a preacher too represent you?
I agree that there are some starving lawyers out there, shaking trees too make a buck. They are bad lawyers.
There are some very good ones also.
Dee comes from a convoluted encounter system when he expresses his thoughts about lawyers. Criminal law and litigation law are very small parts of the legal system. Criminal law will make you cringe, I agree, but, if you need one of those boys they don't work cheap if they are worth a salt. I know some boys that paid dearly for the benefits of a very good criminal lawyer. Not that they were not guilty as sin, but a jury system, requires a man/woman (sorry Heather) who knows how to work for his client. I am also of the opinion that everyman is entitled too GOOD representation. I would Rather 10 guilty go free than one innocent be convicted.
