Mossy ATR question for a gunsmith

How is the barrel attatched to the receiver in the Mossberg ATR rifles?  Is it a typical barrel screwed in to the receiver arrangement?

It is like the Savage 110 series.  They have a lock nut but the ATR's lock nut is smooth with a whole at the bottom.
