I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

Last night I was at the grocery store. I seen a muslim/arabic couple buying a lot of water. They had 8 shopping carts full of nothing but gallons of water. Matter of fact I think the cleaned the whole store out.Maybe they know something we dont.

I think if the actual Lesser of Two Evils had won, we wouldn't be giving out pork, and trying to actually do something that might work.

By pork i'm going to assume that were speaking of the current stimulus package.  To be fair, Bush's signature is on a nice 700billion bailout chock full of it himself.

I couldn't agree more.  No matter which side of the aisle you look down you are still looking far away from what the American people actually need.

or want !

That is true for some, but a lot of people still love Obama.  They are willing to do whatever he says is necessary to "fix" us.  They want Obama, so I don't think what would be best for our country to give the people what they want.  Let's only provide what they need and leave it to them to fulfill their wants.

when govt. realizes there is no more $$$$$$$$$ left to give , print or tax . it will be a day of reckoning on par with the falling of Rome , the British Empire , Russian rev. , French rev etc.
Interesting times lay ahead !

That reminds me of the scene in "Bruce Almighty" when Jim Carey grants everybody their prayer of winning the lotto, and there was not enough money in the system to pay everybody.

Or, maybe the arabs didn't know that water comes out of a faucet and it's usually the exact same stuff that's sold in the store in plastic jugs.  Kind of like my wife; she thinks there's something different about the water in plastic bottles.

My question about the stickittous package is, about the bridge and rod building, where is all this money I have been paying in gas tax going if we need money from the stickittous package for these items?

I know the stickittous is being pushed as a road/brige package, but less than 5% of it is for this.

Kind of off topic, but really not.  What is a good, long lasting bulk food to buy? I was thinking about putting some back.  I figured rice or beans would be top of the list, but really don't know.  I thought about putting back a few gallons of water, some dry goods, and maybe a case or two of MRE's (but they're so EXPENSIVE.) What are your thoughts.
This that I do, I do by my own free will.

Another question that has been on my mind about the stickittous pacakge being a road/Bridge building deal is, what are they using all the fuels tax I been paying for? After the trip I just finished I sure have to say they haven't been using much of the money in BO's home state to repair interstate 74.

BTW, I make sure I fill before and after Illinoid so I am not helping that state with any taxes.
