Some language that makes no sense (about de-stimulus)

Toward end of article:

“In reaching a compromise on the stimulus bill, all sides gave a little to get a lot: the most sweeping legislation ever passed to spur economic activity. “

At beginning of article:

“No Republicans voted for the legislation.”

How can it be a compromise if only one party voted in favor of it?

I happen to flip it to CNN at the same time NP was making her speech about how great it and OB were and she said that they have been working on this for over a year now... and that they came together the pass it...

Why have they been working on this for over a year if the problems did not become evedent until last summer?  inquiring minds want to know...

She sure was gloating about this spending bill. Rep had no problem giving money to the bankers. Dems have the power right now and they are gonna prove it. Wait till they come for the guns

talk about words , all gave a little , don't know bout ya'll but they take more than a little from me in taxes . And aren't the tax payers going to foot the bill ?
NP AND OB been working on it a year ? same year he was campaining ? same year he was getting experince on a national level ?
Dang i feel good now with all that work and fore thought don't ya'll ?

now compromise - yep i feel we were all compromised don't ya'll ?

Intresting thought: Stimulus #1 was passed with the opposition of 70% fo the voters then we had an election and all the pols that voted for it were reelected. No wonder this country is going to #### The voters all have their heads checking of hemmroids.

well..the stimulous bill does give $30 million to save the endangered swamp mouse in Pelosi's district and additional spending for condoms for the poor. Schumer said the American people aren't interested in how much the government spends. One has to realize these representitives are morons which we keep re-electing

So basically what I'm getting here is they knew what the "stimulus bill" was gonna be before they knew there was a crisis.  I'd say that was a little disingenuous. Looks like our economic crisis was the democratic party's smoke screen to sneak in their socialist agenda!  AT a pace they never even dreamed possible until they had the press and the mentally disadvantaged slobbering over them and and covering them in a smoke screen of national crisis.  Kinda makes you wanna bowl with peoples heads don't it.

Did ya even wonder what the rush and  secrecy was all about?
