I consider it the continuation of the greatest transfer of wealth in history.  This time it will go to Mexico.  They are touting that this will be used to build infrastructure, with the creation of a bunch of new jobs.  Most of those jobs will be unskilled, laboring positions.  The money will go to contractors, who are notorious for hiring unskilled Mexician loborers.  So who will the stimulus money help?  Mexico that who, few Americians will get those jobs.

It's a welfare program for people who don't pay taxes and payback to the unions. It will do little to nothing to arrest the real issues.

It will create jobs for unions and special interest. It will do nothing to help keep struggling companies in the private sector afloat. Its all designed to transfer power from the private capitol to a government control economy. Socialism here we come.....

I think they hope that, but when they drive the recession straight into full blown depression on par with the 1930s, I think they might kill themselves at the ballot box.

Although, for this assumption to work out, the American voters would have to show some signs of intelligence....  so we may be up a creek.

If Obama truly wanted to "stimulate" the economy, he would have simply taken strategic & targeted steps to cut those taxes that are hurting business and people. But since this disables his ability to dole out the $800b, he won't do it. This stimulus bill is designed so that politicians working for Obama and the Democrates can control how the $800b gets spent. This is 100% pure political spending so who do you think is going to get the $800b? It will be supporters of Obama and the socialist democratic movement. Pure and simple and any American who can't see this is suffering from Obama delusion and the main stream media will not point this out because they are part of the socialist movement. 

They still have not fixed the banking problem and this is actually to "center" of our economic issue. Untill they resolve the banking/credit issue, even stable busnisses won't be able to afford to operate and new business opportunities will never emerge.

All I would say is hunker down. This thing is going to get worse, much worse
