WTK value of Model 176
« on: February 14, 2009, 10:05:29 AM »
HI--
My friend gave me a H&R model 176 12ga magnum to sell for him. This is in exc. condition and has a 36" barrel which I haven't seen before. I'll try to load a pic or two, and any of you H&R gurus that can help me put a price on it would be deeply appreciated.

Hey, since I figured how to add the pics, let me try some more.........

There's a couple rub marks on hand guard, but otherwise almost dent free!

I wish I could own it, I betch'ya she'd make a decent goose gun.
Please don't be afraid to put your two cents in, but I would appreciate a real value, not what you'd like to pay for it, LOL ;D

TIA, Eric

I would say between 125-150, In fact i would buy this gun if my deer mount wasnt ready for pickup at the taxidermist, the wife gets mad if i spend to much. If you still have this gun in a few weeks i may still be interested.

Yes, the receiver really looks nice in the sun.
The Snow Geese have been flying all over here the last couple days ,maybe I should try it out to make sure it still works, LOL :D
I thought it would be worth more than $125- $150, maybe I should get it.

I've been looking for one for a while on gunbroker and that is the going price range. I have the same gun in 10ga.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun
