After waiting 10 months for the gunsmith to rebarrel my sharps and finding out he
has not even ordered a barrel for it yet! I decided to buy a lathe and do it myself
Already had to restock it myself (smitty don't do woodwork) so this is the next
step if I want to see it before I can't see the sights anymore!
Will post pics when done.

same old crap, if yu want it done do it yourself.i looked years to find a good gunsmith roun here and when i did ,he immediately decided to retire.

Y'know guys, UPS works really well. There are plenty of really talented gunsmiths out there who would love to do work for you.

long guns can also be sent USPS and can be returned directly to the owner without using an FFL...
