what model savage am i looking for ???

im looking for a savage 30-06 with accu-trigger, and iron sights...
also ? i've read on this board , that savage has some of their rifles with a clip ? magazine ?
anyone have one ? pro's con's ? clip fed ? compared to a blind top loading rifle ?
what would the model number be ? that im looking for ? thanks.

If you are looking for a Classic hunting rifle with a Walnut stock and Iron sights, I'd suggest the 114 Euro Classic. It has a hinged floorplate - it loads from the top, but it can be unloaded by opening the floorplate and allowing the rounds to drop out into your hand or the ground if you're not too handy.

Edit: Buckweet, the 114 Euro Classic has a detachable Mag rather than a hinged floorplate (just looked in the 2009 Savage catalog and verified it on the Savage website). My mistake. Actually, I think the detachable mag makes the Euro 114 an even more appealing rifle.
