Weaver scope repair
« on: February 16, 2009, 07:18:42 AM »
I did a search but all the responses list the "Weaver Scope Repair Service" in EL Paso.  Seems to me I remember they closed up shop.   :-\  I tried the number for them (915-593-1005) and it had been disconnected.   :(  Anyone know who will now repair the old ElPaso Weavers?  I've got broken crosshairs on a K-4.   :-[

You're right, they closed up shop.  Have you tried ironsightinc ?  They supposedly bought up all remaining parts when El Paso closed up.

Nope, never heard of them.   :-\  Do they have a web site?   ???  I'll try what you stated with a dot com!   ;D

Got it!  I guess that's the place.  $75.00 min is a little steep, but this scope was given to me by a fine member here and getting it repaired will be worth it!  Thanks!   :)

There is a place in S. Florida that I belive will do it. ABO is the name of the company. there number is (305) 859-2010. I called about a Redfield widefield and they told me that the min was 40. That was only a few weeks ago. I hope that it helps.

I sent a couple widefields to A.B.O. for repairs, one had broken crosshairs, and they did a good job on both.
