« on: February 16, 2009, 10:33:50 AM »
Hey just spent some cash on a barrel for my 1100 for turkey hunting. Good lookin barrel 2-3/4 chamber rem choke. My ? is what does target stamped on the barrel mean? How is it different than regular barrel? Thanks!!

Mostly just that chamber is 2-3/4" only so no 3" ammo which most turkey hunters want. If your gun is 2-3/4" only that doesn't matter. They are however optimized for lighter loads but short magnums shouldn't hurt anything.
