Coleman, I know exactly where you're coming from. I have loved guns and shooting for as long as I can remember (I'm 56) but for the longest it was save money, save save save. For what? A super-dooper wheelchair? And not to sound morbid but life can end rather sudden without notice, right? So, about 3 years ago I set out to own (and fondle) many of the guns I've lusted after for so many years. When I was a kid the most expensive rifle advertised on the back pages of American Rifleman was the Jungle Carbine at $39. Found one and bought it. Growing up I hunted with two brothers; one had a Savage 99 in .250, the other a Rem. Mod.8 in .30. Got the 99 but substituted the Mod.8 for a Mod. 81 in .300 Savage. I never owned a Win. 94,bought one.I'll never go to Africa but for big feral hogs at last light a .458 seemed just the ticket, got one. This list could go on and on. Right now I have a lead on a Rem. 700 Varmint in 6mm,another of my wants. Just four days ago I bought a takeoff 7-08 barrel (my newest darling caliber) so I can re-barrel a .243 700 I have. Anyway, good luck with your illness, hope it is not terminal. Kix
