I expected more from the King of Savage. Look it is not hard why Randy is pushing his anti-CVA agenda. CVA sells more muzzleloaders than the rest. It is not because CVA is the best one on the market. It is because most hunters are not going to buy a $500 muzzleloader to use a few days a year on some early-late muzzleloader season. The CVA shoots and looks just like the higher priced guns so they buy the CVA. Plus they can they can AFFORD the CVA. Savage is paying this guy to run down CVA because their muzzleloader sells are not like the CVA. That is business guys, but he has picked the wrong place to run down CVA. Like I said before I would just blow him off and his buddy. Let Randy blow smoke and his buddy.I will keep shooting and supporting CVA. By the way Randy what is going on with the savage court case or have you forgot about that?

The Russian made shotguns are actually pretty rugged guns... they aren't the best looking though.

The remington spanish made muzzleloader is just as bad as any spanish made muzzleloader. Thankfully Remington no longer imports Traditions products.

To tell the truth that's exactly why I bought the CVA's... I didn't know anything about muzzleloaders and wanted to try it without spending alot of money.
I still don't really shoot them that much so they are OK for me... but if I got serious about muzzleloaders I would buy something better.

Swamp my friend you are missing the point here. You come on this site to run down CVA. You are siding with Randy who is working for Savage and is getting paid to trash talk CVA. You fail to mention the law suits about Remington or Savage. Look if you dont like CVA then I would advise you not to shoot them. This is a CVA site and the people on this site shoot and support CVA. I dont think you or Randy will ever change anyones mind about their CVA. If you are so worried about saving lives then let the world know about Remingtons lawsuits and Savage Arms. We are gonna keep shooting our CVA's. And I will also keep shooting my Remington 700's.

Hey I bought one of those russian shotguns. I think it is quite nice looking sweet wood and takes birds out of the air with either barrel left or right.

you know whats interesting is that CVA buys their steel from all over the world, Including the USA. I bet you that all the american companies use a lot of imported steel. Todays ford chevy dodge use imported steel while surprisingly, toyta/honda actually use USA made steel.

American Made bullet shown below thats slammed by RW just because BPI owns it now.

You might have answered the question but failed to mention the other firearm lawsuits. Most of them have some kind of a law suit. You are out to make CVA unsafe and they are not. You are trying to single out CVA when other companys have gone threw the same mess. Do you remember the Remington 700 safety issue. It was on the news. Turns out most of the rifles had unsafe work done on the triggers by other people. Was that Remingtons fault? If someone overcharges a muzzleloader they are going to blow up the barrel! People get hurt because they do something stupid and dont follewthe owners manuel. Then they want to take them to court. Just think about.

Seriously Wakeman, you have be more careful or you will lose your sponser. I've noted in the writing business that once you screw up, even on behalf of your employer, you find yourself less in demand. And gaffs on the web tend to come back to your editors sooner or later. They are about as forgiving of mistakes like that as a weasel in a hen house...and then no one ever takes you seriously again.

I still think about the wizard of oz with these two. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. In other words big show no go. Their minds are made up no sense confusing them with the facts. Ones mind is made up by a paycheck, the other by not being able to think for himself, which makes them both alike as far as not being able to think for themselves. Thank God for the entertainment factor here. Otherwise it would have been locked a while ago lol.

Don' hold yer breath! He's refused to address that aspect since the outset. All he wants to do is run down CVA, when he remembers to do it right...and not make the claim that he'd probably still own a gun that can't hit a 4'X8' sheet at fifty yards.

Gang it's become increasingly obvious that Swamp is only involved for the entertainment value, he refuses to even discuss anything that remotely resembles facts or anything that shows that his vendetta is based on things that even his beloved Remington has done. ya'll can continue to feed the troll if ya want. I think we should let it starve though. There's enough info here to allow anyone who reads through to see the reality behind Swamp and Wakemans program.
