Opportunity to buy .17 HRM Sportster - I got it!

I have a chance to buy one in very good condition with a run of the mill 3x9 scope for $120.00.  Buy or not?  I already have a Contender carbine that shoots extremely well.

YES!!!. that is a very good price for a gun which will astound you with it's accuracy and terminal effact on varmints....<><....:)

P.S. - I have one already and if I saw that deal I would jump on it....

i just paid 135 today for a used sporter, in decent  shape,  so go for it ,


oh did i mention i bought a used 17 hmr today!!!!!!!

The grass is always greener buddy, you still have your youth, and that more valuable!!! Besides, I spent all my "mooolaaaaa" years ago, now I am working on credit. What the heck, "mooolaaaaa" is over rated anyway, and besides that, if you have worked hard for it and saved it, nobama is just going to take yours and give it to some lazy do nothing anyway!!!....<><....:(

i was just pickin on ya ,,hope yu know , the youth is slidin away  too fast thats for sure, and i agree on the nobama hahahahahhaahah ,, i just hope  for all peoples sake things get pickin back up , i know alot of folks  workin 3 maybe 4 days a week , just keepin a job  whew  not good

I picked it up today.  It is in excellent condition and has a Bushnell Sportsman 3 - 9x scope on it, with a 3 pound trigger pull, $120.00 including tax!  I hope to take it to the range tomorrow or Thursday.

not bad atall, sometimes  yu just luck out and find a deal, with the cost of centerfire ammo the 17 is goin to get alot more attention this summer from me  for sure

I did get an opportunity to shoot it today.  It was just 1/2" left at 50 yd.  I sighted it 1" high at 100 yd., but it was too cold with gusty winds to get a good group.

I picked one up today...traded an old Mossberg .22 for it.  The guy I got it from told me he bought it, mounted a scope, never shot it, and put it up, and from the looks of it I believe him.  I got it in the original box (with a date of 12-07-05 on the end of it), with all of the paperwork (and all intact), and two boxes of ammo (one priced at $9.99  :o).  It's a beauty and I can't wait to shoot it, already got my scope mounted on it.
