2009 Remington models?

I have searched the net looking for the new offering from Remington. Even Gunbroker does not have any of the new models yet. Have any of you even seen any in gun shops yet? Dale

Tho it's quite a change for me I've not even been inside a gun store this year yet. I'm sure that's as much a shock to the local gun stores as it is to me as by this time last year I had purchased at least three new Remingtons and some handguns as well I think.

It's amazing how much losing over $1,000 a month of income will change your spending habits. I know me really well and know that I have zero will power to resist temptation so the only way to keep me from spending money I don't have on guns is to not go looking at them.

No doubt the folks at the local gunstores must think I've died.

I am the same as Bill. I know myself so the only way to keep myself from buying is to NOT go looking  ;D I had to buy some new band gear lately so I can start playing out again @ weddings/parties so the $$ is tight. With that said, I always find a way to get a Remmy so I MUST stay out of the stores, otherwise I'll over extend myself. Come late April when landscaping starts, I can start shopping for Big Green goodies again  :D

I can't even visit gunbroker or the temptation starts.

The new limited edition 700 CDL SF for 2009 in the .257 Roberts has been in the gunshops for at least a week, and I have witnessed two being sold this week.  Other than that, I don't know what else is new for 2009 for Remington.  I really want one of those CDL SF's in the Roberts, but I also want a Roberts in the Kimber 84M Select Grade.  What's a person to do?   ;D

I've looked at the Model 7 Predator in .223 and would like input from anyone that has shot one of these in any caliber....... accuracy? Trigger?

Since I'm a Roberts fan too, I looked on Remington's site, and didn't see anything about that there. What are the details? Long action / short action, SS?

Thanks for the link scootrd! I just didn't look in the right place I guess. That is a nice looking rifle! I like the short action too.

I was on Remington's site yesterday. They aren't listing the 798s anymore. Wonder who's gonna pick up 'em this time? Cruised thru Davidson site yesterday, after Rem and they didn't show any stock either.
