I just saw an interesting revolver, black powder frame Colt 44-40, except it wasn't a Colt. Finish gone, Colt markings on barrel, everything looked good, quality obviously wasn't Colt. The pawn shop guy actually told me it wasn't Colt, said markings on barrel were reversed. I'm no Colt expert but, man, that sure looked close. NO other markings. Could fool a lot of people, watch out!
