Scope Mount for Turkey Gun?

New to this forum....Heard this was the place to get answers on H&R and NEF questions.

Got a NEF SB1-F10 12 gauge to turkey hunt with this year. Took it to the local gunsmith to have it drilled and tapped for a scope base, and he wouldn't do it. Said the barrel wasn't thick enough....Since then I have searched high and low looking for some type of scope mount for this gun with no luck.

So my question is, do any of y'all have any leads on anything like a B-Square type scope mount for this gun? Or any suggestions on anything else that might work?

 I looked also and had no luck.  Just for info don't try JB WELD, I used it to mount a scope on another 12 gauge and it held for about thirty shots before I bounced the scope and mount off my forehead.
