OK, here is a question for the new sponsor. I went out to your website and saw the deals you have on your binoculars right now.
My question is, what is the difference between the Zen-Ray VISTA 10x42 on sale for $134.99 and the ZRS HD (ZEN-RAY SUMMIT) 10x42 on sale for $209.99?
The ZRS HD (ZEN-RAY SUMMIT) 10x42 says that it has 99.5% light transmission. What is the light transmission for the Zen-Ray VISTA's?
The major difference is that ZRS has phase coating on prism, the enclosure is made of Magnesium alloy chassis. It also has silver high reflectivity coating on the prism. Optically, ZRS has flatter field of view. The depth of focus is also better with ZRS. BTW, ZRS also comes with locking diopter setting.
The 99.5% light tranmission is the transmision rate each lens/air interface. The overall transmission rate of ZRS is a few percentage higher than VISTA.
The VISTA has $20 coupon (SAVE20) for additional saving.
Thanks
