Tried to find out if they had a web site, and it looks like they don't. But about 8 or 9 miles east of Camp Perry, we have a shop called CheeseHaven, in Pt.Clinton. I believe they advertise over 150 different cheese's. Smoked, cured, old, new, list goes on. If any of you are planning on shooting at Perry thsi year, you owe yourself a visit there.  gypsyman
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

Boy do I ever remember my only experience with Limberger cheese....I was in high school having an initiation to one of the "service" organizations on campus .......actually a hazing ritual.   Any way me and the other prospects were blind folded and made to kneel in front of a plate of Limberger.....we were told to take a mountful and eat it.   Most of us couldnt' get past the smell.   The two that did were told they were eating cheese while blindfolded.    After removing the blinds, they were told it was something out of the rear end of a dog.....that's when they lost it.

I never wanted to venture into that territory again.

Just to set you on the right track :)

It is Limburger not berger and one of my favorite cheeses along Brie,  Camembert and Swiss. It is very expensive here so I don't buy it often.

Yep, the smell is "earthy" but it doesn't taste anywhere like it.

Thanks BBF -  I didn't use the spell check on that one.
