OK OK I got it , don't make house payment , GOVT. will send $$$$$. ,have rug rats ya can't afford the GOVT will send $$$$$ , don't use the $$$$$ the Govt. sent to feed the rug rats and the school will use GOVT. money to feed them .

Thats the joke, or my poor attempt at one anyway! We've been makin changes like that for years and all we get out of it is more Obamma supporters.

Look back at all the changes since you were a child, I'm 58 tears old and I have been seeing changes since I started school. Welfare needs to be stopped, not supported there is no reason to work if you get a check anyway. The education went south because the obamma supporters could not keep up so they dumbed down and slowed up the class. Now they are graduating kids that cant read, then you get to support them.

I have no problem with kids getting Cheese sammiches , But you gotta draw the line somewhere. not at cheese sammiches but at parents that require you to feed their kid !

In a way this reminds me of an old Sam Kinison joke about the Ethiopians. Don't send them food, they have no work and just sit around, doing what people do when they are bored (make other people to feed.

) Send them luggage SO THEY CAN MOVE TO WHERE THE FOOD ISSSSSSSSSSSS. Some may not like him and some of his stuff was over the top...some of it was pure genius.

I have no problem with helping someone going through rough times. I see rough times in almost ALL of our futures and we are going to need to stick together. However, I think that the government needs to step out 100% and allow faith and community based programs step in. I'm a pretty nice guy and for the most part all someone has to do is ASk me for help and if I can I'm there. TELL me to do something and I'll do everything in my power to NOT do it. (This is a character trait that my x-Mother-In-Law never did understand. Part of the reason she is my X Mother In Law.)

If you cannot feed your own children lunch i just do not know what to say. I feed my children and it costs me about 10 a day for both kids. Smoke and drink less so you can afford food for your children. Don't complain about a cheese sandwich that is free. Cheese sandwich is a whole lot better than the cow tounge that i got a a kid

I am sick to death of "for the children". You have a bunch of whores that go out and have a house full of kids with no dad. I am sorry I meant single mothers. So they get ADC to take care of the kids. That the blow on dope and booze. So they get food stamps to feed the kids. That they trade for cash. So we have to feed the little darlings in school! Heck, I eat a bologna sammich most everyday for lunch. Some day's I take pimento cheese. Most of the other fellows in the office go out for lunch.

I can afford to go out for lunch, but frankly, I don't see the value.

So, lets see......everything I own is paid off. The newest car I own is a 96. Up until last month I worked two jobs, going 12 days in a row between days off. I take my lunch almost every day.

Now, I'm deemed "successful" because I chose to pay my bills and save my money. Therefore, I get to pay every body elses bill too. Well, thank you very much.

As far as a kid eating free cheese sandwiches.....

Why wouldn't they just say thank you? I would.....

Yep................ That is what obama said when joe the plumber asked him about that before the election. I was watching news this morning and they had 2 guests debating the cheese sammich issue. The Liberals point was that the poor kids are being pulled from the lunch line and they feel ashamed to eat these cheese sammy while other kids get better food. The other guest said the lunch is perfectly good and has all the nutrition the kid needs.

This is simply another class warfare issue for the liberals. The "have nots" taking from the "haves".

Also from what I hear about the stickittous package they are going to take away some away some of these evil tax deductions from the evil wealthy, and the non profits that help the poor will be the first to suffer. This will cause more of the burden of feeding the parasites of our society to the middle class tax burden. I'm sure BHO will be able to grow government when the parasites who were depndent upon these evil tax deductions givin by the evil wealthy class dry up and they are going hungry.

So you are ashamed of the way your children are being fed? Might we just call that motivation to get your life back on track. Throwing yourself on the ground and wailing woa as me, isn't what I would call an action plan. There are always extenuating circumstances that need to be dealt with seperatly. Crying of destitution with the TV running in the background while calling the newspaper on your cellphone just doesn't cut it.

File the appropriate paper work and get on with your job search. Kids are pretty resillient, they won't be any more affected than you allow them to be. If you can not afford a PBJ sammich and an apple in a bag then you sure as heck should be happy for a free cheese sammich from anywhere.

I've got to agree with most everyone here. While I do indeed feel for the children, the first one to have the duty of caring for each child
is the parent of that child. If it is indeed a case of extreme want (extremely rare) and the parent is not smoking, drinking, doing drugs or spending food money for garbage, there will be plenty of local people/organizations ready to help.
If it is the case where the parent is spending the child's food money for expensive habits and perhaps is just too lazy to get up and pack a proper lunch; someone should be given the kid that would appreciate them better..and the slovenly one sterilized...so that particular problem goes away.
Sounds tough, but everywhere it has been tried, it worked.

Somehow, I believe that with the new admin in Washington, the lazy losers will keep their "rights" to sponge off taxpayers...and those hard working taxpayers will be losing their "rights"; such as in the first and second amendments..

Remember: It takes a Village. Big City Comunity Organization. These are socialist ideals which means you MUST tear down & take from those who have more than you. Rather, the American way is suppose to be to aspire to those who have more so you work harder and become a more productive member if that's what you as an individual want. Ever notice tho that those calling so loudly for this "sharing the wealth" are the very rich and super rich and that it is NOT their wealth that is being shared but rather than of the average working joe smoe instead? In this current situation it's joe smoe's money primarily going to those very rich and super rich to make them even richer and then tossing just enough of it the way of those too lazy to work so as to keep them voting the others in.

There is but two ways this can end and neither is gonna be pretty. I just can't see anyway that there isn't gonna be a shooting war in this country between honest citizens fed up with being screwed and the government who is doing the screwing. What the outcome will be I dunno but it's coming.

IMHO, the biggest problem with the US is the lack of shame, or being ashamed about the things that bring no shame.

Nothing is off limits anymore (well, except here, on Graybeard Outdoors) (which is why I like the place so much), there is no shame, no guilt, but plenty of pride and greed.

Good manners is another thing this country is sorely lacking in.......like saying thank you when some thing is offered to you.
