What happened to SOG'S Website
« on: February 26, 2009, 06:52:57 AM »
Can anyone tell me what happened to SOG's website. Did they remove all firearms or are they just under construction? Thanks, Steve

SOG has made the decision to restrict web site access to dealers and C&R holders only.  If you have a C&R license then you can send it to SOG and get dealer pricing and access to the web site.  Otherwise, you will either have to call them or look at their ads in the Shotgun News to determine availability and pricing.

I have had my C&R on file with them for some time.  Also, I went thru the new Create Account feature, and still can't see any firearms when I log in.  I sent them an email thru their 'Contact Us' page, but have not received any reply yet.  Do I have to call them and set up an account now or what?

Same here.  Century Arms always did the same type of thing, and it's just a total hassle.  The hoops that the government makes me jump through in order to buy firearms are enough already.  A company making more hoops to jump through for no reason is just not worth it.  There are other companies that want my money more.

Gents.  I haven't called SOG yet since they revised their website, but I did create an account a few weeks ago.  Up till now, I couldn't see any firearms at all, but now suddenly I can.

Because I never have called them about the problem I believe it was just taking them awhile to cross reference C&R holders they had on file with newly created accounts.  At least that's the only explanation I can think of.

If you've created an account, and couldn't previously view any firearms, try again.

Regards,
Chris.
