2nd Annual Ohio Shoot
« on: February 26, 2009, 11:08:11 AM »
Hope this works for everyone .

Saturday April 25th @ 9 AM

Black Swamp Rifle & Pistol Club , Delphos Ohio .

If your coming from I-75 , its 75 to US 30 , then 30 west to SR 66 at Delphos , take 66 south for about 3/4's of a mile , then turn left at the first road ( Pohlman Rd ) , then about 1/4 mile -- or you can use map quest to find a shorter route .

Club has covered benches for up to 20 shooters on the rifle range with 50 , 100 and 200 yards burms , also has a pistol range for 50 yards .

Target frames with foam backers are in place so all you will need are your targets and either tape or a staple gun .

This will be a week after our spring clean up day at the club so the range should be in tip - top shape .  ;D

Hope to see as many as possable there .

Hey there,   I live over by Shawnee and did not know Delphos had a range.  What kind of weapons are you allowed to shot.  How much does it cost to join?  Any certain range hours?
Thanks Pat

We can either cook on the grill again or we do have a couple good pizza places here in town that we could do also , its up to you guys .

Myself I like the grill .  ;D

I'm planning on bringing the drinks again so its going to be Pepsi products and bottled water unless someone just has to have that Croke stuff . ;D

I will be bringing my Chrono along to test some loads so if anyone needs to use it , it will be there .

If you have a Chrony they used to give you a partial credit on shot ones when you replaced them  ;D I got a discount from them when I replaced Dad's after shooting it. If it is a chrony and you still have it give them a call and see if they still do that.

Thanks for the tip Greg. I immediately replaced it. I never checked to see if I could get a discount for sending it in. The only thing salvageable off of mine were the rods/sky screens and the read out box that sets on the shooting table. Every cable was ruined. That is what happens when you run a 34 grain bullet at 3200 fps into it. The bullet immediately disintegrated and cut every thing in its widening path. The bullet never made it out the rear of the Beta Master; it was too busy disintegrating every thing in it's path. :(

Stimpy no can do on the 25th- me and a buddy are taking two servicemen who were wounded in IRAQ turkey hunting.  I am really looking forward to helping these guys from the Wounded Warriors project.

Have a good time at the shoot!
