Has anyone loaded and shot the Barnes TSX in a 130grn ?  If so how about a run down, accuracy, speed ect.

Thanks   Buckfever

Well Buckie old boy, guess it's up to you!   ;D  I'd like to know myself so you just give 'em a run and post the results!  I played around with 130 gr. spire points in the '06 but wasn't really impressed and didn't push the max because I couldn't get past the feeling they wouldn't hold together on deer.   :-\  The Barnes on the other hand...  :)

I'm waiting for those Spent Uranium Core Lokts to come out for the extra penetration they offer. ::)

This is getting to be a tough crowd to ask a question too.  Barnes TSX are long for there weight size because copper is lighter than lead.  So my thought process was maybe they would act like a lighter 150 grn and flatten out those out Western shots.  Just another middle of the winter MN theory.

Shoot boy!  Try askin if the 243 is marginal for deer!   :D

My thoughts also.   :-*  The higher velocity of the lighter weight and the penetration (I love penetration  ;D) of the heavier bullet!  Sounds perfect!  'course I've never shot one myself...  :-\  But I'm waiting for your report!   ;D
