32 H&R Single Sixes
« on: February 28, 2009, 03:27:08 PM »
Just stumbled on to a matched pair of case colored frame, white grip single sixes, I think they were fixed sights, they were locking the door and I only had a few seconds before he hit the light switch.  Had $450.00 ea. on them.  Fair price?  This guy doesn't deal, haven't seen them for years.  Condition was Very Good to excellent from what I could tell.  What do you think, be waiting at his door when he opens?  DP

If they are the ones I'm thinking about like the one I had I only paid $315 NIB out the door I believe. $450 each sounds totally unreasonable to me.

Do they have consecutive serial numbers?  If so that would ad to their value some.  Otherwise that sounds a little high to me.

I paid less for both of mine a few years ago but for some reason these little critters do command prices up at that amount.  Check GunBroker for comparisons.  they ARE fun little revolvers though.

The last yr. or so since Ruger quit making them they have been going for $550 to 600 and sometimes more.  I have 5, 3 Vaquero types and 2 with adj. sights.  I had another with a Birdshead grip that I sold for $600 a couple of months ago.  As soon as anything is unavailable everyone wants one and are willing to pay high prices.  Sorta like AKs and ARs
right now.  $450 isn't out of line for used excellent Ruger .32s with Ruger ivory grips.  I love mine and the ones I have now are not for sale.  If Ruger doesn't make anymore they should increase in value while your having fun shooting them.

I have a set of NIB single six 32's looked for a while and no one had any deals it's a sellers market since 32's are the lightest for sass ,rugers are not made and freedom arms is 1600, if you want to watch the auctions for 6 months you could pick up singles for 350-400, probably better to pay the extra and get the pair
