Well I bought one Im not sure on how Ifeel about it  yet ,I think Iknow  why they give  you a free starting supply of 50 of the 1200 fps pellets, Because it takes  at least  that many  to sight  the gun in, My laser will not hold  my zero where Iwant it to where it will line  up with  the scope adjustment I dont understand  how  they can feel good about  this product it is by far not  the most expensive  air  rifle but not  the cheapest either 15 Years ago Ihad a benjamin Ithink it was A BLUE STREEK  WITH A 4 POWER SCOPE ,tHAT GUN GROUPED GREAT  WITH 8 PUMPS I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY this  single pump isnt more consistent.

I bought a Shadow 1000 without a scope and bought a BSA scope for it. It groups fine for me (I have it sighted in at 30 yrds). For me the subsonic pellets group better than the PBA pellets. I have been using Gamo rockets on squirrels with great success. I don't recall what speed I got on the chronograph (it was a while ago), but recall is was in the 850 fps range for the 9.6 gr rocket.

springers are rough on most scopes. I took the scope off of my Beeman
for a while today and shot it about 30 times. Great group at about 30 yards!
I found that my scope will stay zeroed for about a Dozen shots
before I have to set it on the bench and fine tune it again.
My next rifle will be a Co2 powered model. I have a couple but they
have no means to mount a scope.

My Gamo eat the BSA scope it came with.  It was great just before the end.  Fire and the target would go out of focus..... Then slowly come back into focus.  till it made a rattle noise when I tried to load it.
I have gone to a Bushnell Air rifle scope and can not be happier.
I was looking at one of those yesterday at Bass pro.
Is the laser moving on the scope?  It looked like it would.  make a mark on the laser and the scope and fire a dozen rounds  See if it moves.
If it does you can do something about it.  If not.... then call Gamo.

 I own Gamo hunter. The heavy spring action makes it hard to get any consistent accuracy.  I tried different makes of pellets & any Gamo was terrible! Most all have the mold ridges on them. Some so bad you had to force them into the barrel. RWS works the best for me. The rifle is going bye-bye soon.  I have made some long shots with it but just not consistent for me.

My brother got rid of his Gamo Hunter for the same reason.
not consistant with any pellet he tried. My beeman is finniky
about what it likes to shoot. The Gold plated Gamo pellets
are deadly out of it but i tried some with the little steel ball
in the nose and I literally missed an old car hood 4 out
of 5 shots at 30 yards.. no joke, completely missed!
1 hit, 2 shot low, 2 shot high. Not sure what happened
with those things. They shoot fine out of an old Daisy
