Here is what I sent him-
Dear Senator: Sharrod Brown
I am really upset with you for not opposing the nomination of Eric Holder
for Attorney General. I consider that to be an anti-gun action, and I
will definitely "remember in November."
Don't forget that support for gun control is what cost Bill Clinton's
party the control of Congress in 1994... and Al Gore his election in
2000... and John Kerry the presidency in 2004.
Lamenting this fact at a Rose Garden ceremony, President Clinton stated on
April 27, 1999, "There are some people [Democrats] who would be on this
platform today who lost their seats in 1994 because they voted for the
Brady Bill and they voted for the assault weapons ban."
I will not forget what you did, and I will make sure that other people I
know don't forget this either.
Plus, I will wholeheartedly support Gun Owners of America's efforts to
alert as many people as possible to what you have done.
Sincerely,
R Parsons
Here is what he sent me-
Dear Mr. Parsons:
Thank you for expressing your views on the nomination of Eric Holder to be Attorney General of the United States.
Mr. Holder has served as a public corruption prosecutor, a former U.S. Attorney, and a D.C. Superior Court Judge. His experiences demonstrate the depth of his qualifications, and I believe he possesses the character, integrity, and independence necessary to lead the Department of Justice. While Mr. Holder may have made errors in judgment in the past, I believe he has learned from his mistakes.
The Senate confirmed Mr. Holder by a bipartisan vote of 75-21 on February 2, 2009, and I was proud to support his nomination.
Thank you again for contacting me.
Some one got the excat response from there senator. I mean excat verbatim.
