GLOCK .357 Sig almost broke his wrist?
« on: March 02, 2009, 05:04:08 PM »
;D     I got a laugh this morning.    I turned on the car radio, and a radio Emcee named Neal Borsch?,  was telling how he almost shot his Wet Suit he'd left hanging on the shower head.    ???   Seems he'd forgotten it after washing the dried Sea salts off of it.

Late that night his wife hears a noise and wakes Neal.    :o  He gets his Glock .357 SIG out ((whatever SIG means: he said)) of the night stand drawer and goes sneaking thru the house.

Not finding anything awry, he heads for the bathroom before retiring to the bedroom.   Upon entering the bathroom he sees (what he thought was) this big black man in the shower.   And he begins screaming at the "WET SUIT" to come out of  the shower with your hands up"!!!!

His wife hearing the shouts of demand, grabs the phone and begins dialing 911.  :D   Neals finger is squeezing on the Glock's trigger as he's screaming at this guy to come out,  when he realizes the black man is in actuality his wet suit.

Then he begins to tell how glad he was that he didn't have to shoot that gun, because he'd only shot the thing once, and it nearly broke his wrist........   ;D ;D

I listen to him, heard him that day. I'm almost 68 and have bad wrists, and have the 357 Sig barrel in my Glock 22. It's recoil doesn't bother me at all. Now, my 15" 460 S&W Encore is a very different matter. He should shoot it..............hahahaha

The real question is, why is some guy trusting his safety to a gun he has only shot ONCE?  These are the types of people who become statistics.....ammo isn't THAT expensive, get out and SHOOT.

Hey Andy:
I agree.   He needs lots of practice.   Then he'll know to get a grip on that gun before pulling the trigger.    If he's not willing to learn how to use it he'd be better off without it.

Obviously a liberal, as they have very limp wrists.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

FourBEE........This guy must be some kind of a WIMP! My wife shoots my Kimber 45acp cal, Glock 10mm cal and Sig P-229.357-sig cal.  I do not let the wife shoot the Smith & Wesson model 29 in .44mag it can be a chore or the Smith & Wesson .460 cal. this is far to punishing for a women.

It sounds like to me, this guy needs to get to the shooting range and break that pistol in, with no doubt some instruction as well for his sake.

he didn't know what sig means, or what real recoil is so I assume he's afraid of slide bite (or afraid of the mag realease and slide realease which makes me afraid of his ignorance) and gripping it really low... maybe he's grabbing the bottom of the grip and instead of putting his weak hand over and under his dominant, he's putting that one over and up (pressing up on the trigger guard and dustcover) and throwing his shots off like crazy (bore axis positioning)

add that to the already mentioned liberal limp wrist and there you have it (I can believe it'd feel quite weird)
plus if he had his gun tilted up the slide might have actually hit his wrist

honestly, a lot of people might be able to shoot a target from ten yards and call that a good day--- never shoot while moving, rapid-fire, shoot from unconventional positions (laying, twisting, presentation w/2x tap, concealment presentation and fire, off hand...)

from the recant the guy sounded like a .. well you know  .. let's say panzy
and the guy that put it on the radio might have talked it up, maybe HE thought .357 from a snub with bad grips????
