38-55 advice

local shop has one in decent shape H&R schnabel fore end they have it priced at 400 seems a bit hi to me. Is it high , fair or about right. not a as new gun but not beat up either.

Sound high to me for a used one.I got mine used with 2 boxes of Winchesters Factory loads for $300 out the door.

Yup, that's too high, I know where a new one is right now for $345, I paid $309 for mine new a year ago.  ;)
