Aluminum pistol cases
« on: March 03, 2009, 08:53:56 AM »
I admit I am a bit of gleaner, so when I find hundreds of 9mm and 45 acp Blazer aluminum pistol cases laying around at the range, I began to wonder "Can these things be reloaded" ? I checked and they are not berdain primers. Can they be used one more time? Two more times? Is anyone out there reloading these casings? If so, is it safe?
Please share your thoughts and experiances. Thanks,

NO!

They are good only for their scrap metal value.

Best as I can recall, all the CCI Blazer ammo (aluminum) I've ever shot has NR (Non Reloadable) stamped on the head like this:

There is CCI Blazer Ammo (Brass) that can be reloaded but that's something entirely different.
