Tuesday, 3/3/09 In Georgia
« on: March 03, 2009, 10:16:24 AM »
Afternoon guys!  First chance I had to start today's thread.  Anyone can start it ya know... I see how everyone is lined up to post something all excited and everything, just waiting for me to start the thread!

Looking out my office window I see the sun shining bright but it's still cold... I understand it's 'spose to be up in the high 70's by the end of the week.  I hope so, I'm going to try again to make it to the range Thursday!

either do or do not.

:-[  Once again you got me...

I either do or do not ...  I never "try" because to just "try" implys the probability of faiure  :-\  and I never start something I don't fully intend to succeed at.  Therefore, either I do or do not do it.  As you said...  :P  <sigh, the ol' boy never misses a shot...  ::)   ;D>

"Good Morning Vietnam,"

I listened to that guy every once in a while.  Always wanted to strangle him...  We much preferred Hanoi Hannah.  Actually I can't remember much about either one...  :-\

That's interesting AtlLaw. Hanoi Hanna was famous for her propaganda broadcasts. Some of you guys preferring her is a testament to how psychologically tough many of our Soldiers must have been. I'll bet some of the Soldiers really took her crap to heart though. Sure wish my dad was still alive. I distinctly remember him telling my mom about Seoul City Sue, who I suppose was a Korean version of Hanoi Hannah, but he talked about her with a smile, so I'm thinking she must not have had too much of an impact on him.
