He is either clueless which I doubt, or he is doing the things he is doing to take the economy down so he can make the Government what he wants it to be. The Nanny state, and make it look like Capitalism was the cause of what happened! So his supporters, which will be growing in numbers everyday, will look to him for their salvation!  Ice cream and free lunch for everyone!

I don't even have to watch it to know this idiot of a president dosen't get it. What's really telling is that he is a reflection of American society. People went to the polls and 53m or so voted for this moron.

Pardner I just dont agree with that. I really think he is what he was said to be before the election.
A Radical and hes out to get even with the people he thinks discriminated against him before. He did not stay in his preachers church because he did not know what was going on in there.
He is crazy like a fox and he is going about what he came to do.

I wish you were right, then something could be done about that, but he has planned this, him and his radical friends!

Righto! I don't find Obama to be as disturbing as the trend in population that put him in office. I believe he same shift is responsible for the republicans losing their identity to search for support in an electorate of people who are on the dole, or who want to be on the dole. It does appear to be a case of the people getting the government they choose to have.

Guys the socialism is merely another smoke screen for the REAL AGENDA.

The REAL AGENDA is to bring down the US economy so the entire world economy will collapse. The super rich who are giving the orders to the folks in DC already have most of the world's money and are getting trillions more via the current plans in place.

What they want is fewer people on earth. They want a return to fuedalism. They want to live high on the hill in their castle and have only enough servants and slaves to do their bidding and no more. The goal is to reduce the human population of earth by a few billion. Just looking at the US only I'd say they want to reduce the population here by a minimum of 90%. The plan to do it is in place now and is in the process of being executed a very apt word as executions will be the way they get there.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123604419092515347.html

"As 2009 opened, three weeks before Barack Obama took office, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 9034 on January 2, its highest level since the autumn panic. Yesterday the Dow fell another 4.24% to 6763, for an overall decline of 25% in two months and to its lowest level since 1997. The dismaying message here is that President Obama's policies have become part of the economy's problem."

Obuma wants to destroy the economy. He is trying to make people dependant on the government. Who in their right mind, gets into super deep financial debt and then comes up with a plan to go deeper into debt as a way to gel out of debt? It's simply ludicrous and the American people are mostly a bunch of willing sheep.

Cut taxes and  commensurately cut spending. Give the free markets the opportunity to get us out of the crap bag we are in. Then, when we emerge, slowly bring back up taxes were required to pay off the debt until brought under reasonable control then bring them back down.

Taxes and spending give power to Washington. Without either, it reduces their power and influence over the people.

Good post! I read that too. The following link is a bit out of date because Nobama is now responsible for a decline in the Dow of over 25%, but it's interesting reading anyway. The delicious symmetry is that the markets responded to the forced resignation of Nixon as it responded to the inauguration of Nobama:

I pulled out of the gambling market when it was high, now I'm just wondering when to go back in.

It has never been money and no money has been lost, the stock were over valued and now they are correcting.

Now as for BHO wanting to destroy the economy, he wants to destroy more than that. He wants to destroy America as a whole.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

GB is absolutely correct---until then, as this continues in a downward spiral and you know who don't get the checks from nobama like they think they are --violence will erupt and after time people will welcome almost anything from the govenment as long as they get protection--not pretty--however God is still in control and that is something they can never change.

I'm betting if senators and congressmen's pensions depended on the stock market, like most of us, they would have a lot different slant on it.  As for the Obamanation, I think he is a communist and doesn't believe in any form of capitalism.

BUT,,,ditto what GB said, and one should identify who this force is.

That's the thing I'm still a bit undecided on. I'm sure you want to blame the Jews and while I do not doubt for one minute some individuals who are of Jewish faith are part and parcel I do not think that as a group they are the ones responsible.

I merely call them the "rich and super rich". I think a few billion net worth is kind of a cut off line for this group generally but accept that some with less are either part of it or at least willing accomplices or lackeys doing their bidding aka G. Bush.

I don't think religious affliation or lack there of or country of origin has anything to do with it. The common thread binding them is they are super rich, want more power than they already have and the bottom line goal is to reduce the world's human population by 85% to 90% leaving only enough of us to be their slaves/servants to keep them living in the style they wish to live.

for the most part i am on par with what's being said.  in my opinion, all the red-flags that were raised during the presidential campaign got ignored (the radical preacher - yes, i find it hard to believe you can be a follower for 20yrs & not know the guy's a radical - gimme a break - the radical muslim father from kenya & the athiest mother from wherever, the refusal to salute the u.s. flag during an event - if he won't salute the flag of the nation he wishes to lead, what flag will he salute? hmm).  personally there's no way i could in good conscience put a guy into office with a middle name of hussein.  call me whatever you will - profiling - whatever.  facts are facts & the muslums are the ones who want us dead.  at any rate, if mccain had won, it would have been rodney king-like riots all over again cuz it would have been turned into a racial issue. but the guy won & the nation (minus some synics like me) rejoice.  hoo-friggin' rah.  oh & btw, speaking to the race card, this happened on one of the satellite news channels (foxnews maybe) - a black guy made the comment that all white people needed to be exterminated.  now, if the shoe was on the other foot, a white said it about blacks - jesse jackson, al sharpton & the whole NAACP would have been up in his shizbit before the interview was even finished!  but for some reason it's ok to disparage the white race - we're all just supposed to shrug & go "oh, well" but we're the first to be called racist whenever something happens.  where's the NAAWP (nat'l association of white people)when you need 'em? oh, nevermind - we can't do that either cuz it'd be considered racist.

this economy is a tinder box & it's been simmering for a long time.  you can agree or not, but it boils down to corporate greed & a corrupt government.  our jobs got shipped out, the corporate big-wigs got richer - it's rediculous what these companies get away with & it's all at our expense.  most of the products we buy are from other countries (china, indonesia & the like).  so our jobs are gone but the greedy corporations want to make stuff cheap elsewhere & then continue to sell it here for rediculously high prices.  unemployed people don't go shopping & cannot pay their bills.  so if enough people become unemployed (in addition to the cost of living being sky high), there's no money coming in to feed the economy!  it's no wonder everything is crashing like it is! and these governemnt bail-outs?  what a crock!  the people who have worked all their lives that find themselves jobless because of all this nonsense - what do they get from the system they've paid into?  NOTHING!  middle class - got assets - DON'T QUALIFY!

this "stimulous" business?  what a crock!  throwing money at a broken system is like trying to patch a hole in a sinking boat with a piece of gum.  eventually it's going to wear out & your boat's gonna sink anyway!  the other part of the equation is all the dead weight - illegal aliens that live better off the system than i do when i work full time at a decent job & the native nincumpoops who are just too lazy to work.  people on welfare want obama cuz he's gonna keep 'em on welfare & by the time it's all said & done the illegals will get social security & a pension to go with the escalade while i'm still living paycheck to paycheck driving a rusty ford pinto when i'm 80!

i read some of the posts a little while back about the gun control thing.  all i can say is read up on your history.  someone else spoke to the republic being brought down from within.  true.  the roman empire crumpled from within.  speaking to the extermination plot - what better way to get rid of americans than from within - look at hitler.  he had the propaganda & the charisma & people followed w/out question while millions of HUMANS were tortured & slaughtered.  jim jones.  david koresh.  saddam hussein.  kim jong whatever in korea.  now look at obama.  makes you think, doesn't.  the japanese goverment outlawed swords in the 1800's knowing that was the primary method of defense for the samurai.  where are the samurai now?  the more government-dependent & defenseless the population is, the more we are like sitting ducks & it'll be just a matter of time before they easily start picking us off, little by little.

history repeats itself because people don't learn from the past.

anyway just thot i'd share my thots on the situation as i have found it interesting reading everyone else's posts.

Well said.
I feel for Bush- he was just a boy- sent to do a man's job. He did it, as well as he could, because he had a conscience, and was looking out for what he thought was the american peoples interests. He didn't realize in the last eight years, th american people were actually looking for an anti-gun muslim abortionist who wants class warfare.

Its a big circle of history that repeats itself:  Bondage---then we get a religion and have a cause which results in Freedom.  Freedom brings wealth which brings complacency.  After while this results in apathy and then dependency where we are not--this then results in bondage and it starts all over again,.

if i could figure out how to attach it to this post - it's an interesting audio clip in which glenn beck (foxnews) is discussing the socialism/communism theory.  beck plays for the listener an interview from the 1960's of ezra taft benson (u.s. sec. of agriculture) in which he describes his meeting with kruschev, the russian leader at that time.  i am going to listen to the clip & transcribe a portion of it.  it is as follows:
benson:  "...as we spoke face to face he indicated that my grandchildren would live under communism.  after i said i expected to do everything in my power to see that that never happens, he arrogantly declared, you americans are so gullable...you won't accept it out right.  we'll feed you little bits of socialism until you wake up one day & realize you already have communism.  we won't have to fight you.  you will fall like over-ripe fruit from a tree, right into our hands."
the clip continues with a woman (her heritage evident by her vocal inflection) speaking to press after an obama rally:
".... i wont have to work on putting gas in my car, i won't have to work on paying my mortgage - if i support him he'll support me.  i never thot this day would happen."
neither did we.
if i can figure out how to post the clip, i will - you really need to hear it for yourself.

"I don't pay attention to the day-to-day gyrations of the stock market!" Someone needs to explain to him the difference between a "gyration" and a freefall without a parachute. Now he's going to start meddling in healthcare, how long before that is as screwed up as the economy?
