Walked into Gander Mountain a couple weeks ago and walked out with another Savage. Why, i have no idea. I have a great looking good shooting SS camo i used this year with a 250grn SW and shot a nice 8point buck here in PA. I actually thought about doing some testing with BH209 out of it and i think i changed my mind. I dont think there would be any gain in velocity or reason to use a savage with out a good modified breech plug.  Of course i will probably shoot it and find something it really likes.

Hey you can never have too many rifles. I may try a Savage someday. I have owned a few of their centerfire rifles, but never a smoke pole. Nice addition to your arsenal buddy,Grizz.

theres no difference between Want & need in my book. If you can afford it then you absulutly need it ;D ;D
