17 mach 2 scope
« on: March 03, 2009, 05:22:59 PM »
Ok guys, I have looked and read this forum until I feel bug eyed :-\.  I have a Sportster 17 hm2 on its way and want to get a good scope for it.  Please tell me what you have and would you recommend it.  I am interested in staying under $125 if at all possible.  Thanks

I've got a Weaver RV7 rimfire scope on mine, great little scope with a small power ring that's H&R friendly for mounting in medium instead of high rings.

These are very good choices.  Thanks Guys.  What height rings work for the Mueller?

Lots of guys are using BSA sweet 17 scopes for about the best cheapest with no problems .But Weavers Burris or Leopold rifleman scopes are not all that much more. Kurt

I cannot comment on the scopes recommended sans the Sweet 17.
Generally these are looked down upon. But my Pop has one on his 17HMR and its been a tack driver now for a couple years.  Its worth a look..

I have been hearing more and more good with these Mueller APV scopes.. I may have to try one soon...
