Found a model seven 7mm-08 Will power fading fast GOT IT

Had some time to kill this afternoon, so swung thru a gunshop, Had about an hour to kill , Cruised the used gun rack, Found a model 7 7mm-08 with burris rings &a Leupold Vari-X II 3X9 .Every thing was in good condition, The wood was kinda plain, The gun felt good, 20 inch barrel Quite a bit lighter than my rem 700s Asking price was $575, Figured not a bad price. ALMOST put it on lay-away, cant swing it this week, Almost had to run out of the store, Gonna swing back thru next week . If its still there, then it must be fate ;D. Ill put it on layaway

With that scope mounted it's an excellent price. The scope is easily worth $150 of that.

If thats the Model 7 CDL that is a fantastic price.   I ordered a new one for my daughter and the out-the-door price was $703 without any glass or mounts.   If I would have found a deal like yours I would have jumped hard and fast on it.  Let me know if you are going to handload for this rifle and I will give you a heads up on a load that worked in her little 7-08, if you would like.

Luckyducker,I knew it was a good deal, Just moneys tight these days. Its the BDL model which I prefer. Its got the black grip cap & scnebal(spelling???) foream. Im gonna be loading for it. Ive got some 120 &140 Nosler BTs on hand, Im looking for some HornadySSTs 139s. So yeah any info you got I ll take. Not sure if Ive said this but it is a sweet little rifle ;D

Picked it up yeasturday. Gonna be loading for it this week, hopefully Ill have a range report this weekend

I too have a Remington Model Seven CDL, also in 7mm-08, and it is scary accurate shooting Sierra 140 Pro Hunters loaded on top of 46.0 grains of H-4350!!!

By the way, my rifle is topped with a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 and has absolutely beautiful wood.

You will love that little rifle, especially hunting in tight cover or out of a treestand.
