Leupold one-piece base
« on: March 06, 2009, 12:57:53 AM »
Good Morning! I have a quick question. Will the L. one-piece base that fits the Rem.700 also fit the older Rem 725?   Thanks.  Kix

Doesn't it say what it fits on? If it doesn't put it next where it goes and see if it would fit

jro45  If I had a base in pkg. I wouldn't be asking this question. If I had the base AND a 725 in front of me I wouldn't be asking either. Let me go into detail: A friend has a LA 725. He wants to change to the Leopold base but he lives approximately 40 miles from where I know they sell 700 bases. He has no internet access,I do. He is looking to me to provide an answer before he drives 80 miles round trip, maybe for naught. I don't know if the hole patterns line up;I have five 700's but no experience with 725's so my very simple question still stands.
