Anybody shooting the Lee 452-300-RF

in their .45 Colt handgun for hunting? I suppose I'll have to seat in the top seating groove for a S&W 25-5?

No but, this same bullet works very well in my 629, of course in the .430-300-RF, very accurate.

i used it in my 454 and it was a good bullet.

i use it over Green Dot in my Ruger.  Good bullet. I get 1050fps with no leading using LBT hard Blue lube.  Works good on hogs.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.

I have just finished casting a pile of them from my new mold. I have yet to see how they shoot, but the similar bullet in .44 mag shoots well from my SRH.
These will be mostly loaded for my Encore .454, but you know that I will have to try some in my Blackhawk...

Yep out of my Win 94 in 45LC and my SRH 454, Puma 454!! It's a real thumper out of each.  ;D

I've been holding off on working with this mold untill I can get the two Keith bullet molds back from LBT at the size I ordered them in, back there for the third time but, probably starting at something in the neighborhood of 20+ grains of H110?
