Powder scale check weights?

Any ideas for a cheap check weight setup or just fork out the bucks for an official set?

Just shell out the $$'s , its cheap insurance to keep your scale in check .  ;) and your eyes & fingers in place .

Using a new coin will get you pretty close, but not like a check weight will.  As I understand it, the US mint allows +/- 0.002 N variance from the specified weight for coins, which means that a newly minted coin can vary by +/- 3 grains.  So that new Dime could weigh 32gr, or it could weigh 38gr, or anywhere in between.
