Remingtons website has all the info you need, Bookmark it after visiting. I don't believe they come in 260, not currently anyways. I don't recall any past SPS models being offered in 260 but I could be wrong.

*I don't quite understand the point of the Poll you added  ???

wind drift,

Sniper is correct, there appears to be no SPS rifle chambered in 260 Remington. You can however get the 260 in last year's Model (2008) 700 Limited Edition CDL. Another excellent alternative would be the Model 7 CDL which can be purchased in 260 Remington (part# 26419). I'm not sure about any other 260 options with Remington.

I also don't quite understand the point of your poll. You do realize that you can start a topic without using the Poll feature?

Mine started as a SPS Varmint .308win, I removed and sold the stock and replaced it with the H-S Precision PST12 stock(it's the same stock the Rem 700 Police comes with).

I highly recommend that you upgrade any of the SPS lines of stocks like sniperVLS did.  A barely used Bell and Carlson or H-S Precision will set you back a bit over 2 bills (provided you don't go for one of the adjustable ones), and increases the rigidity of the stock.  Plus with the aluminum bedding blocks you don't REALLY have to bed the rifle, althoug I did on both of my H-S precisions.  The new X-mark pro trigger is a breeze to adjust, although I don't like feel of the trigger shoe on my finger as much as the older Remington triggers.

Are you looking for a heavy barrel paper puncher?  Start out with the SPS Varmint/Tactical, then rebarrel later as needed.  If you are looking for a lightweight hunting rifle then you are stuck with the model 7 CDL for new Remingtons, which runs a couple of hundred more.
