samco mauser czech

The picture of the czech mauser on their website looks great. Has anyone had any experience ordering from them? Also, has anyone ordered this specific firearm?

I have ordered mil-surp parts from them before and they are always nice over the telephone and professional.  If they send the wrong part there is no problem returning it.

If you are going to get that Czech Mauser and plan to leave it mil-spec and shoot it, then order a set of Swedish Mauser front sight blades ($10/3) so you can see what you're shooting at. 

Most Mausers had short front sight blades so the trajectory of the 8mm round would stay within 12" over 300 yd.  If you want to shoot to poa at 100m, replace the front sight blade with one of the 'square' blades for the Swedish Mauser (those blades fit any Mauser) and open up the rear "V" sight with s small Swiss file and you get a great sight picture.  HTH.  Mikey.

I purchased the yugo 24/47 and my 24/52C from them.  I ended up with both the unissued and the well used ones thru the years.

There czech mausers seem to be the winter handguard models.

Aim surplus has the Czech 24 there for sale at $229.  To me the aim one looks a tad better.  I'd buy both....

thanks I just ordered the Samco-I have the yugo 24/47 I picked up at a gun show-the Samco picture looks great but I have been surprised in the past.

I wouldn't go with the picture i'd make sure of the grade.
