My concern isn't the manufacturer or price point. I have a Bersa that it a great pistol in 380. A blowback 45 is hard to design, and hard to control with different loads. For instance, to design a blowback that won't slam the slide against the frame in a 45, you'll need a pretty hefty spring. Shooting lighter loads with this design is likely more prone to feeding problems than a recoil operated design.
That said, for 185 bucks, who cares.
I would, however, not use a $185 pistol with a blowback design in a 45 for a self defense pistol. Get a good, used revolver in 357 instead.
