anyone buy a montado?

ive got a 45 and love it. I carry it more then any gun i own. cool thing is it will fit right in the front pocket of a pair of jeans.

Lloyd, I've noticed that with short barreled single actions; they really do drop easily into a front pocket.  The grips stick out and it works pretty good.  Be careful sitting down!  44 Man.

You still have that gun!  I think that is the longest you've ever kept a gun.  :D

That's right!  I hadn't realized it but you HAVE had that a very long time (for you).  Apparently it works well for it's intended purpose.  I love short barreled single actions!  A 4" barrel balances very well in a SAA style handgun.  I'm surprised that is not an option on a lot of single action guns.  Colt has done a very few, I think EMF did a few also.  With the slightly beefier Ruger, the 3 3/4" does well also.  Great going Lloyd!  Wish I still had the Ruger Blackhawk that Mag-na-port did up for me with a round butt and 4" barrel, that was sweet!  Then I decided I was no longer going to shoot .45, only .44 and let it go.  Dumb.  Now I have more .45's than anything else!  44 Man
