weatherby 458 lott custom deluxe

  Anyone unpleased with thier bigger caliber weatherby rifles, pertaining to durability, service and etc?.. Im considering a 458 lott in the custom (deluxe?), and have heard some rumers of problems over the  years tin the weatherby lineup.. the reason im looking at weatherby is becouse they have a castoff stock, and most of the other quality bigger guns do not.. thanks..

My brother had a custom fiberglas stock made for his ruger m77 in 458 lott.  The guy did not have a mold yet so it ended up costing my brother $800 for his stock.  Now that the guy has a mold, it should be cheaper.  If you end up going the ruger route, let me know and I will find out who did it for him.

I hope you get your problem solved. My 458 Lott is made by CZ and I have no problems with it.
