AMEN!!!!!! The fall walleye run is staring here on the red river, and that means ice up hopefully by mid nov. can't wait!

Before we know it it will be cold!!
The rockies got some snow mid week, and we are getting down to 40 at night now. The salmon are still holding out in Lake Superior, the rivers are too low for them to come in...We had ice on the west end of superior until the first week in june this spring. This is my Newfie pup that day at Little Girls Point.

what a cutie!!! had a newfie cross, got close to 200 lb. before she had a stroke. Our northern lakes are starting to see ice up in the back bays. a few caribou hunters were telling me that the lakes had skins of ice on them.
