my handi 22-250 does-not like the 60gr v-max

with any powder type and weight according to load data....

no where close to the 50gr ballistic tip @ max load.
neighbors thought i was building a house, hearing all that hammering.

i guess i should have known better to load 40 rounds before testing!!!!!

i'll stick to nosler from now on.

What are you using in your 22/250? I just bought one and looking for loading ideas.

34gr of imr-4895   nosler 50gr ballistic tip  rem brass  cci magnum LR primers
no powder residue left in the barrel what-so-ever!!!
.72 @200yrds consistantly. multi-hole (clover-leaf) @ 100yrds.
others here will probably scwabble to that load, but who cares!!!
i know it works well in my handi....and its standard contour.
with forend mods.
your mileage may vary...
v-max is not for my application!!!!!!!
